The Secret to Being a Determined PersonPosted by s0r4340 on Aug 8, 2012 in Happiness, Lifestyle, Personal Development, Self Improvement, Self-Help, Success | 0 comments
There has been plenty of talk in the Internet Marketing arena about doggedness. A lot of people are trying to figure out how to get in touch with their motivation so that they can continue to move forward even when things are tough. There are lots of obstacles to overcome when you are starting out in the world of online marketing (or any business for that matter) and it can be difficult to stick with your projects and keep working toward your goals. So how exactly do you accomplish that? Just how do you find your perseverance to go on?
Find your inner stubbornness. Mostly, being tenacious is regarded as something that you have to work on or set right. As such, stubbornness can be your biggest asset. Determine that you’re going to be a success and then simply refuse to give up on your goal. This is going to make it more effortless to move forward. It is going to help you overcome your obstacles. You can determine to simply not quit. If you can determine that you are simply not going to, say, eat broccoli, you can decide to keep pursuing success.
Tap into your inner competitive spirit. This, evidently, will only work for you if you are a competitive individual. When you’re naturally competitive, one of the best and simplest ways to persevere and to keep going when things feel risky is to select someone who has managed to accomplish all of the things that you would like to do and then resolve that you are going to do them even better than that person has done them. Make your eventual success a contest and then do everything in your power to do it better than the individual whose success you wish to emulate. For those who love to compete, this is a fantastic way to persevere.
Count your blessings. One of the most difficult things to do when you want to find success is to keep moving forward when things get rough. It is easy to start to look at all of those bad things as individual excuses for quitting. When you begin to feel bad or like you aren’t going to be able to get your way, you need to look around and find the things that actually work for you. You may not be pulling in the hundreds and hundreds of dollars that you wish to earn daily but you have lots of awesome contacts that you enjoy talking with. The current economy might be getting in the way of your sales but your conversion rate might be very high and that means that your sales materials are effective. The little things all amount to something big and can help you persevere and achieve your goals.
Stop worrying about those things that are out of your control. Worry about what you can control. Minor things are in your control. These can help you find a great feeling of accomplishment that you can use to keep going when you begin to really want to resign.
These might seem like unusual ways to keep going but the reality is that by being a little stubborn and competitive, you’ll go a long way. You unquestionably need to have a positive outlook. Don’t freak out; you’ll make it!
